CELIAC DISEASE GLUTEN SENSITIVITY
Celiac Disease is a genetically linked autoimmune disease which involves an immune system inflammatory response to gluten (found in wheat,barley,rye,[oats]) that damages the villi of the small intestine. All body systems, including the brain and nervous system, can ultimately be affected from this disease through either a direct immunological attack/response, or through vitamin.
WHAT IS GLUTEN INTOLERANCE?
Gluten intolerance, also called celiac disease, is an extreme sensitivity to the protein gluten, which is found in wheat, barley and rye. Though the symptoms may appear similar, gluten intolerance is not a food allergy but rather an inherited autoimmune disease. The body's immune system mistakenly identifies gluten as harmful. This leads to inflammation and damage.
